Aflac reported fiscal year 2006 executive compensation information on March 23, 2007.
In 2006, six Aflac executives received on average a compensation package of $4.9M.
Daniel P. Amos, Chief Executive Officer, received $14M in total. 61% of Amos' compensation, or $8.6M, was in option awards. Amos also received $2.2M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.2M in salary, $1.7M in stock awards, as well as $292K in other compensation.
Kriss Cloninger III, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $5.5M. 46% of the compensation package, or $2.5M, was in option awards.
Akitoshi Kan, Chairman, earned $3.5M in 2006.
Ronald E. Kirkland, Sr. VP, Aflac, Director of Sales, received $2.8M in 2006.
Joey M. Loudermilk, General Counsel, earned $1.9M in 2006.
