Albemarle reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on March 22, 2022.
In 2021, five Albemarle executives received on average a compensation package of $3.8M, a 17% increase compared to previous year.
J. Kent Masters, Jr, Chief Executive Officer, received $9M in total, which increased by 83% compared to 2020. 46% of Masters' compensation, or $4.2M, was in stock awards. Masters also received $2.2M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.4M in option awards, $1.1M in salary, as well as $235K in other compensation.
Scott A. Tozier, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $2.7M, which decreased by 20% compared to previous year. 31% of the compensation package, or $836K, was in stock awards.
Eric W. Norris, President, Lithium, earned $2.6M in 2021, a 3% increase compared to previous year.
Karen G. Narwold, Chief Administrative Officer, received $2.4M in 2021, which is about the same as previous year.
Netha N. Johnson, Jr, President, Bromine, earned $2.4M in 2021, a 23% decrease compared to previous year.
