ALLETE reported fiscal year 2012 executive compensation information on March 26, 2013.
In 2012, five ALLETE executives received on average a compensation package of $1.1M, a 5% increase compared to previous year.
Alan R. Hodnik, Chief Executive Officer, received $2.7M in total, which increased by 23% compared to 2011. 44% of Hodnik's compensation, or $1.2M, was of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings. Hodnik also received $372K in non-equity incentive plan, $539K in salary, $523K in stock awards, as well as $91K in other compensation.
Mark A. Schober, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $1.1M, which decreased by 4% compared to previous year. 34% of the compensation package, or $358K, was of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings.
Deborah A. Amberg, General Counsel, earned $735K in 2012, a 5% decrease compared to previous year.
David J. McMillan, Senior Vice President External Affairs, received $631K in 2012, which decreases by 14% compared to 2011.
Robert J. Adams, Vice President Business Development and Chief Risk Officer, earned $534K in 2012, a 9% decrease compared to previous year.
