ALLETE reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on March 17, 2020.
In 2019, six ALLETE executives received on average a compensation package of $1.6M, a 7% increase compared to previous year.
Alan R. Hodnik, Chairman, received $4.7M in total, which increased by 35% compared to 2018. 44% of Hodnik's compensation, or $2.1M, was of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings. Hodnik also received $635K in non-equity incentive plan, $668K in salary, $1.1M in stock awards, as well as $197K in other compensation.
Robert J. Adams, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $1.6M, which increased by 36% compared to previous year. 34% of the compensation package, or $557K, was of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings.
Bethany M. Owen, Chief Executive Officer, earned $1M in 2019, a 19% increase compared to previous year.
Bradley W. Oachs, Retired Senior Vice President and President Regulated Operations, received $946K in 2019, which decreases by 22% compared to 2018.
Steven W. Morris, Chief Accounting Officer, earned $634K in 2019.
Nicole R. Johnson, Chief Administrative Officer, received $595K in 2019.
