Amedisys reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on April 24, 2020.
In 2019, five Amedisys executives received on average a compensation package of $4.8M, a 118% increase compared to previous year.
Paul B. Kusserow, Chief Executive Officer, received $13M in total, which increased by 164% compared to 2018. 57% of Kusserow's compensation, or $7.3M, was in stock awards. Kusserow also received $394K in non-equity incentive plan, $4.2M in option awards, $899K in salary, as well as $34K in other compensation.
Christopher T. Gerard, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $4.2M, which increased by 251% compared to previous year. 61% of the compensation package, or $2.5M, was in stock awards.
Scott G. Ginn, Chief Financial Officer, earned $2.7M in 2019, a 93% increase compared to previous year.
Sharon Brunecz, Chief Human Resources Officer, received $2.4M in 2019, which decreases by 2% compared to 2018.
David L. Kemmerly, Chief Legal and Government Affairs Officer, earned $1.9M in 2019, a 70% increase compared to previous year.
