Ameren CEO Warner Baxter's 2020 pay rises 3% to $10M

Ameren reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on March 23, 2021.
In 2020, five Ameren executives received on average a compensation package of $5.3M, a 50% increase compared to previous year.
Warner L. Baxter, Chief Executive Officer, received $10M in total, which increased by 3% compared to 2019. 55% of Baxter's compensation, or $5.5M, was in stock awards. Baxter also received $1.4M of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $1.6M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.3M in salary, as well as $194K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2020, the median employee pay was $142,604 at Ameren. Therefore, the ratio of Warner L. Baxter's pay to the median employee pay was 71 to one.
Martin J. Lyons, Jr, Chairman, received a compensation package of $6.1M, which increased by 60% compared to previous year. 63% of the compensation package, or $3.8M, was in stock awards.
Michael L. Moehn, Chief Financial Officer, earned $5.7M in 2020, a 91% increase compared to previous year.
Richard J. Mark, Chairman, received $2.5M in 2020, which is about the same as previous year.
Fadi M. Diya, Senior Vice President and Chief Nuclear Officer, Ameren Missouri, earned $2.3M in 2020, a 1% decrease compared to previous year.
