American International Group reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on March 30, 2021.
In 2020, five executives at American International Group received on average a compensation package of $14M, a 9% increase compared to previous year.
Peter Zaffino, Chief Operating Officer, received $24M in total, which increased by 31% compared to 2019. 66% of Zaffino's compensation, or $16M, was in stock awards. Zaffino also received $4.5M in non-equity incentive plan, $2.1M in option awards, $1.4M in salary, as well as $65K in other compensation.
Brian Duperreault, Chief Executive Officer, received a compensation package of $19M, which decreased by 3% compared to previous year. 48% of the compensation package, or $9.1M, was in stock awards.
Mark D. Lyons, Chief Financial Officer, earned $10M in 2020, a 32% increase compared to previous year.
Douglas A. Dachille, Chief Investment Officer, received $8.7M in 2020, which decreases by 18% compared to 2019.
Lucy Fato, General Counsel, earned $8.6M in 2020.
