Apache reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on April 3, 2020.
In 2019, five Apache executives received on average a compensation package of $6.5M, a 4% decrease compared to previous year.
John J. Christmann IV, Chief Executive Officer, received $14M in total, which decreased by 6% compared to 2018. 77% of Christmann's compensation, or $11M, was in stock awards. Christmann also received $1.4M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.3M in salary, as well as $590K in other compensation.
Stephen J. Riney, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $6.2M, which decreased by 1% compared to previous year. 72% of the compensation package, or $4.4M, was in stock awards.
P. Anthony Lannie, General Counsel, earned $4.3M in 2019, a 4% decrease compared to previous year.
W. Mark Meyer, Senior Vice President, Energy Technology, Data Analytics and Commercial Intelligence, received $3.8M in 2019.
David A. Pursell, Executive Vice President, Development, Planning, Reserves and Fundamentals, earned $3.7M in 2019.
