Apple reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on January 3, 2020.
In 2019, six Apple executives received on average a compensation package of $21M, a 12% decrease compared to previous year.
Kate Adams, General Counsel, received $25M in total, which decreased by 6% compared to 2018. 86% of Adams' compensation, or $22M, was in stock awards. Adams also received $2.6M in non-equity incentive plan, $1M in salary, as well as $41K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2019, the median employee pay was $57,596 at Apple. Therefore, the ratio of Kate Adams' pay to the median employee pay was 438 to one.
Luca Maestri, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $25M, which decreased by 5% compared to previous year. 86% of the compensation package, or $22M, was in stock awards.
Jeff Williams, Chief Operating Officer, earned $25M in 2019, a 5% decrease compared to previous year.
Angela Ahrendts, Former Senior Vice President, Retail, received $22M in 2019, which decreases by 16% compared to 2018.
Deirdre O'Brien, Senior Vice President, Retail + People, earned $19M in 2019.
Tim Cook, Chief Executive Officer, received $12M in 2019, which decreases by 26% compared to 2018.
Apple's fiscal year ends on September 24.
