Apple reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on January 5, 2021.
In 2020, five Apple executives received on average a compensation package of $24M, a 12% increase compared to previous year.
Deirdre O'Brien, Senior Vice President, Retail + People, received $26M in total, which increased by 37% compared to 2019. 82% of O'Brien's compensation, or $22M, was in stock awards. O'Brien also received $3.6M in non-equity incentive plan, $1M in salary, as well as $38K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2020, the median employee pay was $57,783 at Apple. Therefore, the ratio of Deirdre O'Brien's pay to the median employee pay was 455 to one.
Luca Maestri, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $26M, which increased by 4% compared to previous year. 82% of the compensation package, or $22M, was in stock awards.
Jeff Williams, Chief Operating Officer, earned $26M in 2020, a 4% increase compared to previous year.
Kate Adams, General Counsel, received $26M in 2020, which increases by 4% compared to 2019.
Tim Cook, Chief Executive Officer, earned $15M in 2020, a 28% increase compared to previous year.
