Arch Coal reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on March 16, 2020.
In 2019, five Arch Coal executives received on average a compensation package of $1.6M, a 67% decrease compared to previous year.
John W. Eaves, Chief Executive Officer, received $2.9M in total, which decreased by 68% compared to 2018. 50% of Eaves' compensation, or $1.5M, was in non-equity incentive plan. Eaves also received $250K in bonus, $153K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $1M in salary, as well as $50K in other compensation.
Paul A. Lang, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $1.9M, which decreased by 67% compared to previous year. 44% of the compensation package, or $824K, was in non-equity incentive plan.
John T. Drexler, Chief Financial Officer, earned $1.4M in 2019, a 67% decrease compared to previous year.
Robert G. Jones, General Counsel, received $906K in 2019, which decreases by 63% compared to 2018.
John A. Ziegler, Jr, Chief Administrative Officer, earned $785K in 2019, a 61% decrease compared to previous year.
