Ashford reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on April 1, 2019.
In 2018, six Ashford executives received on average a compensation package of $3.3M, a 17% decrease compared to previous year.
Monty J. Bennett, Chief Executive Officer, received $6.1M in total, which increased by 6% compared to 2017. 49% of Bennett's compensation, or $3M, was in option awards. Bennett also received $2.1M in non-equity incentive plan and $950K in salary.
Douglas A. Kessler, Senior Managing Director, received a compensation package of $3.4M, which decreased by 2% compared to previous year. 45% of the compensation package, or $1.5M, was in option awards.
David A. Brooks, Chief Operating Officer, earned $2.9M in 2018, a 7% increase compared to previous year.
J. Robison Hays, III, Co, President and Chief Strategy Officer, received $2.4M in 2018.
Jeremy J. Welter, Chief Operating Officer, earned $2.4M in 2018.
Deric S. Eubanks, Chief Financial Officer, received $2.4M in 2018.
