AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson's 2018 pay rises 1% to $29M

AT&T reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on March 11, 2019.
In 2018, five AT&T executives received on average a compensation package of $18M, a 20% increase compared to previous year.
Randall Stephenson, Chief Executive Officer, received $29M in total, which increased by 1% compared to 2017. 59% of Stephenson's compensation, or $17M, was in stock awards. Stephenson also received $3.5M of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $5.2M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.8M in salary, as well as $1.5M in other compensation.
John Stankey, Chief Executive Officer, received a compensation package of $17M, which increased by 64% compared to previous year. 42% of the compensation package, or $6.9M, was in stock awards.
John Stephens, Chief Financial Officer, earned $16M in 2018, a 13% increase compared to previous year.
John Donovan, Chief Executive Officer, received $15M in 2018, which decreases by 4% compared to 2017.
David McAtee, General Counsel, earned $13M in 2018, a 106% increase compared to previous year.
