AT&T reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on March 11, 2020.
In 2019, six AT&T executives received on average a compensation package of $19M, a 8% increase compared to previous year.
Randall Stephenson, Chief Executive Officer, received $32M in total, which increased by 10% compared to 2018. 62% of Stephenson's compensation, or $20M, was in stock awards. Stephenson also received $3.6M of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $5.3M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.8M in salary, as well as $1.6M in other compensation.
John Donovan, Chief Executive Officer, received a compensation package of $27M, which increased by 85% compared to previous year. 42% of the compensation package, or $11M, was in stock awards.
John Stankey, Chief Operating Officer, earned $22M in 2019, a 36% increase compared to previous year.
John Stephens, Chief Financial Officer, received $17M in 2019, which increases by 7% compared to 2018.
David McAtee, General Counsel, earned $9.4M in 2019, a 27% decrease compared to previous year.
Jeff McElfresh, Chief Executive Officer, received $7.7M in 2019.
