AutoZone reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on October 25, 2021.
In 2021, six AutoZone executives received on average a compensation package of $5.8M, a 14% increase compared to previous year.
William C. Rhodes III, Chief Executive Officer, received $15M in total, which increased by 29% compared to 2020. 64% of Rhodes' compensation, or $9.5M, was in option awards. Rhodes also received $4M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.1M in salary, $91K in stock awards, as well as $245K in other compensation.
Jamere Jackson, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $6.4M. 47% of the compensation package, or $3M, was in option awards.
Thomas B. Newbern, Executive Vice President, International, IT & ALLDATA, earned $4.4M in 2021, a 19% increase compared to previous year.
Mark A. Finestone, Executive Vice President, Strategy & Innovation, received $4.2M in 2021, which increases by 22% compared to 2020.
Seong Ohm, Senior Vice President, Merchandising, earned $3.8M in 2021.
William T. Giles, Chief Financial Officer, received $984K in 2021, which decreases by 75% compared to 2020.
