Avantor reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on April 1, 2022.
In 2021, five Avantor executives received on average a compensation package of $5.5M, a 17% decrease compared to previous year.
Michael Stubblefield, Chief Executive Officer, received $13M in total, which increased by 18% compared to 2020. 50% of Stubblefield's compensation, or $6.6M, was in stock awards. Stubblefield also received $5.3K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $3.5M in non-equity incentive plan, $2M in option awards, $1.1M in salary, as well as $14K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2021, the median employee pay was $40,456 at Avantor. Therefore, the ratio of Michael Stubblefield's pay to the median employee pay was 328 to one.
Thomas Szlosek, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $4.3M, which decreased by 31% compared to previous year. 41% of the compensation package, or $1.8M, was in non-equity incentive plan.
