AXT reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on April 7, 2020.
In 2019, two AXT executives received on average a compensation package of $1.5M, a 15% increase compared to previous year.
Morris S. Young, Chief Executive Officer, received $2.1M in total, which increased by 18% compared to 2018. 49% of Young's compensation, or $1M, was in option awards. Young also received $127K in non-equity incentive plan, $445K in salary, $491K in stock awards, as well as $25K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2019, the median employee pay was $15,988 at AXT. Therefore, the ratio of Morris S. Young's pay to the median employee pay was 133 to one.
Gary L. Fischer, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $790K, which increased by 6% compared to previous year. 39% of the compensation package, or $305K, was in salary.
