Bed Bath & Beyond reported fiscal year 2007 executive compensation information on June 4, 2008.
In 2007, five executives at Bed Bath & Beyond received on average a compensation package of $4.2M, a 5% decrease compared to previous year.
Steven H. Temares, Chief Executive Officer, received $6.7M in total, which increased by 5% compared to 2006. 44% of Temares' compensation, or $3M, was in option awards. Temares also received $38K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $1.3M in salary, $2.4M in stock awards, as well as $24K in other compensation.
Leonard Feinstein, Chairman, received a compensation package of $5M, which decreased by 10% compared to previous year. 48% of the compensation package, or $2.4M, was in stock awards.
Warren Eisenberg, Chairman, earned $5M in 2007, a 11% decrease compared to previous year.
Arthur Stark, President and Chief Merchandising Officer, received $2.3M in 2007, which decreases by 5% compared to 2006.
Eugene A. Castagna, Chief Financial Officer, earned $1.9M in 2007, a 10% decrease compared to previous year.
Bed Bath & Beyond's fiscal year ends on February 28.
