Belden Chairman John Stroup's 2020 pay rises 12% to $8.4M

Belden reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on April 8, 2021.
In 2020, six Belden executives received on average a compensation package of $3.2M, which is about the same as previous year.
John Stroup, Chairman, received $8.4M in total, which increased by 12% compared to 2019. 82% of Stroup's compensation, or $6.8M, was in stock awards. Stroup also received $448K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $550K in non-equity incentive plan, $487K in salary, as well as $64K in other compensation.
Roel Vestjens, Chief Executive Officer, received a compensation package of $2.6M, which increased by 81% compared to previous year. 43% of the compensation package, or $1.1M, was in stock awards.
Henk Derksen, Chief Financial Officer, earned $2.5M in 2020, a 30% increase compared to previous year.
Ashish Chand, Executive Vice President, Industrial Automation, received $2.4M in 2020.
Brian Anderson, General Counsel, earned $1.6M in 2020, a 36% decrease compared to previous year.
Dean McKenna, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, received $1.4M in 2020, which decreases by 44% compared to 2019.
