Belden CEO Roel Vestjens' 2021 pay jumps 158% to $6.8M

Belden reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on April 7, 2022.
In 2021, six Belden executives received on average a compensation package of $3.5M, a 12% increase compared to previous year.
Roel Vestjens, Chief Executive Officer, received $6.8M in total, which increased by 158% compared to 2020. 45% of Vestjens' compensation, or $3.1M, was in stock awards. Vestjens also received $2M in non-equity incentive plan, $896K in option awards, $778K in salary, as well as $84K in other compensation.
Ashish Chand, Executive Vice President, Industrial Automation, received a compensation package of $5.6M, which increased by 130% compared to previous year. 66% of the compensation package, or $3.7M, was in stock awards.
Jeremy Parks, Chief Financial Officer, earned $3M in 2021.
Anshu Mehrotra, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, received $2.7M in 2021.
Brian Anderson, General Counsel, earned $1.9M in 2021, a 19% increase compared to previous year.
Henk Derksen, Chief Financial Officer, received $1.2M in 2021, which decreases by 54% compared to 2020.
