Big Lots reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on May 1, 2020.
In 2019, six Big Lots executives received on average a compensation package of $2.9M, a 2% decrease compared to previous year.
Bruce K. Thorn, Chief Executive Officer, received $6.5M in total, which increased by 68% compared to 2018. 67% of Thorn's compensation, or $4.4M, was in stock awards. Thorn also received $976K in non-equity incentive plan, $1.1M in salary, as well as $72K in other compensation.
Lisa M. Bachmann, Executive Vice President, Chief Merchandising and Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $3.1M, which decreased by 28% compared to previous year. 57% of the compensation package, or $1.8M, was in stock awards.
Timothy A. Johnson, Chief Administrative Officer, earned $2.4M in 2019, a 29% decrease compared to previous year.
Michael A. Schlonsky, Executive Vice President, Human Resources, received $2M in 2019, which decreases by 11% compared to 2018.
Ronald A. Robins Jr, General Counsel, earned $1.9M in 2019, a 4% decrease compared to previous year.
Jonathan E. Ramsden, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, received $1.5M in 2019.
Big Lots' fiscal year ends on January 31.
