Biogen reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on April 20, 2020.
In 2019, six Biogen executives received on average a compensation package of $7.5M, a 6% decrease compared to previous year.
Michel Vounatsos, Chief Executive Officer, received $18M in total, which increased by 12% compared to 2018. 68% of Vounatsos' compensation, or $12M, was in stock awards. Vounatsos also received $86K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $3.9M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.4M in salary, as well as $450K in other compensation.
