Black Hills reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on March 15, 2019.
In 2018, five executives at Black Hills received on average a compensation package of $2M, a 7% decrease compared to previous year.
David R. Emery, Chief Executive Officer, received $4.6M in total, which decreased by 17% compared to 2017. 42% of Emery's compensation, or $1.9M, was in stock awards. Emery also received $523K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $1.2M in non-equity incentive plan, $820K in salary, as well as $140K in other compensation.
Linden R. Evans, Chief Executive Officer, received a compensation package of $2.2M, which increased by 8% compared to previous year. 39% of the compensation package, or $859K, was in stock awards.
Richard W. Kinzley, Chief Financial Officer, earned $1.4M in 2018, a 8% increase compared to previous year.
Brian G. Iverson, General Counsel, received $1.1M in 2018, which increases by 15% compared to 2017.
Scott A. Buchholz, Sr. Vice President and Chief Information Officer, earned $928K in 2018, a 19% decrease compared to previous year.
