Broadcom reported fiscal year 2022 executive compensation information on February 17, 2023.
In 2022, five Broadcom executives received on average a compensation package of $16M, a 35% decrease compared to previous year.
Hock E. Tan, Chief Executive Officer, received $61M in total, which is about the same as previous year. 89% of Tan's compensation, or $54M, was in stock awards. Tan also received $5.4M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.2M in salary, as well as $94K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2022, the median employee pay was $179,156 at Broadcom. Therefore, the ratio of Hock E. Tan's pay to the median employee pay was 338 to one.
Mark D. Brazeal, Chief Legal and Corporate Affairs Officer, received a compensation package of $14M, which increased by 939% compared to previous year. 90% of the compensation package, or $12M, was in stock awards.
Charlie B. Kawwas, President, Semiconductor Solutions Group, earned $2.3M in 2022, a 90% decrease compared to previous year.
Kirsten M. Spears, Chief Financial Officer, received $1.1M in 2022, which decreases by 93% compared to 2021.
Thomas H. Krause Jr, Former President, Broadcom Software Group, earned $517K in 2022, a 98% decrease compared to previous year.
