Bunge reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on March 23, 2021.
In 2020, five Bunge executives received on average a compensation package of $7.2M, a 7% decrease compared to previous year.
Gregory Heckman, Chief Executive Officer, received $13M in total, which decreased by 25% compared to 2019. 37% of Heckman's compensation, or $4.6M, was in non-equity incentive plan. Heckman also received $2.7M in option awards, $1.2M in salary, $3.9M in stock awards, as well as $128K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2020, the median employee pay was $56,746 at Bunge. Therefore, the ratio of Gregory Heckman's pay to the median employee pay was 221 to one.
Brian Zachman, President, Global Risk Management, received a compensation package of $8.5M, which increased by 2% compared to previous year. 67% of the compensation package, or $5.7M, was in non-equity incentive plan.
Christos Dimopoulos, President, Global Supply Chains, earned $5.9M in 2020, a 77% increase compared to previous year.
Raul Padilla, President, Global Operations, received $5.2M in 2020, which decreases by 10% compared to 2019.
John Neppl, Chief Financial Officer, earned $3.9M in 2020, a 39% increase compared to previous year.
