Bunge reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on March 31, 2022.
In 2021, five Bunge executives received on average a compensation package of $8.5M, a 17% increase compared to previous year.
Gregory Heckman, Chief Executive Officer, received $16M in total, which increased by 29% compared to 2020. 62% of Heckman's compensation, or $10M, was in stock awards. Heckman also received $4.6M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.2M in salary, as well as $349K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2021, the median employee pay was $56,216 at Bunge. Therefore, the ratio of Gregory Heckman's pay to the median employee pay was 287 to one.
Brian Zachman, President, Global Risk Management, received a compensation package of $10M, which increased by 20% compared to previous year. 56% of the compensation package, or $5.7M, was in non-equity incentive plan.
Christos Dimopoulos, President, Global Supply Chains, earned $7.5M in 2021, a 26% increase compared to previous year.
John Neppl, Chief Financial Officer, received $4.5M in 2021, which increases by 14% compared to 2020.
Raul Padilla, President, Global Operations, earned $4M in 2021, a 23% decrease compared to previous year.
