Cerence reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on January 24, 2020.
In 2019, three Cerence executives received on average a compensation package of $1.5M, a 27% decrease compared to previous year.
Stefan Ortmanns, Executive Vice President and General Manager Automotive Division, received $4.4M in total, which increased by 106% compared to 2018. 87% of Ortmanns' compensation, or $3.8M, was in stock awards. Ortmanns also received $238K in non-equity incentive plan, $318K in salary, as well as $31K in other compensation.
Mark Gallenberger, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $167K. 55% of the compensation package, or $92K, was in salary.
Sanjay Dhawan, Chief Executive Officer, earned $105K in 2019.
