Cerence reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on December 30, 2021.
In 2021, four Cerence executives received on average a compensation package of $3.2M, a 59% decrease compared to previous year.
Sanjay Dhawan, Chief Executive Officer, received $7.5M in total, which decreased by 42% compared to 2020. 78% of Dhawan's compensation, or $5.8M, was in stock awards. Dhawan also received $992K in non-equity incentive plan, $614K in salary, as well as $53K in other compensation.
Mark Gallenberger, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $2.1M, which decreased by 39% compared to previous year. 59% of the compensation package, or $1.2M, was in stock awards.
Stefan Ortmanns, Chief Executive Officer, earned $2.1M in 2021, a 70% decrease compared to previous year.
Leanne Fitzgerald, General Counsel, received $1.2M in 2021.
Cerence's fiscal year ends on September 30.
