Charter Communications reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on March 18, 2021.
In 2020, six executives at Charter Communications received on average a compensation package of $19M, a 330% increase compared to previous year.
Thomas M. Rutledge, Chief Executive Officer, received $39M in total, which increased by 344% compared to 2019. 77% of Rutledge's compensation, or $30M, was in option awards. Rutledge also received $176K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $6.3M in non-equity incentive plan, $2.1M in salary, as well as $292K in other compensation.
John Bickham, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $36M, which increased by 624% compared to previous year. 86% of the compensation package, or $31M, was in option awards.
Christopher L. Winfrey, Chief Financial Officer, earned $12M in 2020, a 375% increase compared to previous year.
David Ellen, Senior Executive Vice President, received $11M in 2020, which increases by 227% compared to 2019.
Rich DiGeronimo, Chief Product Technology Officer, earned $6.6M in 2020.
Richard J. DiGeronimo, Chief Product Technology Officer, received $6.6M in 2020.
