Chegg reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on April 16, 2021.
In 2020, five Chegg executives received on average a compensation package of $5.5M, a 24% increase compared to previous year.
Dan Rosensweig, Chief Executive Officer, received $10M in total, which increased by 14% compared to 2019. 90% of Rosensweig's compensation, or $9.4M, was in stock awards. Rosensweig also received $1M in salary and $6.1K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2020, the median employee pay was $31,605 at Chegg. Therefore, the ratio of Dan Rosensweig's pay to the median employee pay was 328 to one.
Andrew Brown, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $5M, which increased by 16% compared to previous year. 87% of the compensation package, or $4.4M, was in stock awards.
Nathan Schultz, President of Learning Services, earned $5M in 2020, a 16% increase compared to previous year.
John Fillmore, President of Chegg Skills, received $3.6M in 2020, which increases by 14% compared to 2019.
Esther Lem, Chief Marketing Officer, earned $3.5M in 2020, a 32% increase compared to previous year.
