Chevron reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on April 15, 2019.
In 2018, six Chevron executives received on average a compensation package of $9.3M, a 28% decrease compared to previous year.
Michael K. Wirth, Chief Executive Officer, received $21M in total, which increased by 77% compared to 2017. 49% of Wirth's compensation, or $10M, was in stock awards. Wirth also received $1.2M of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $3.6M in non-equity incentive plan, $3.3M in option awards, $1.5M in salary, as well as $927K in other compensation.
James W. Johnson, Executive Vice President,, received a compensation package of $11M, which decreased by 1% compared to previous year. 35% of the compensation package, or $3.8M, was in stock awards.
Pierre R. Breber, Executive Vice President,, earned $8M in 2018.
Joseph C. Geagea, Executive Vice President, Technology, Projects and Services, received $7.8M in 2018, which decreases by 13% compared to 2017.
Patricia E. Yarrington, Chief Financial Officer, earned $7.2M in 2018, a 12% decrease compared to previous year.
John S. Watson, Chief Executive Officer, received $1.2M in 2018, which decreases by 95% compared to 2017.
