Chevron reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on April 7, 2022.
In 2021, five Chevron executives received on average a compensation package of $11M, a 12% decrease compared to previous year.
Michael K. Wirth, Chief Executive Officer, received $23M in total, which decreased by 22% compared to 2020. 54% of Wirth's compensation, or $12M, was in stock awards. Wirth also received $4.5M in non-equity incentive plan, $3.9M in option awards, $1.7M in salary, as well as $352K in other compensation.
James W. Johnson, Executive Vice President,, received a compensation package of $9.4M, which decreased by 7% compared to previous year. 43% of the compensation package, or $4.1M, was in stock awards.
Joseph C. Geagea, Chief Executive Officer, earned $9.1M in 2021, a 14% increase compared to previous year.
Pierre R. Breber, Chief Financial Officer, received $8.1M in 2021, which decreases by 3% compared to 2020.
Mark A. Nelson, Executive Vice President, Downstream & Chemicals, earned $8M in 2021, a 18% decrease compared to previous year.
