Chimera Investment reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on April 15, 2019.
In 2018, five executives at Chimera Investment received on average a compensation package of $4M, a 9% increase compared to previous year.
Matthew Lambiase, Chief Executive Officer, received $6.7M in total, which increased by 11% compared to 2017. 52% of Lambiase's compensation, or $3.5M, was in non-equity incentive plan. Lambiase also received $750K in salary, $2.4M in stock awards, as well as $17K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2018, the median employee pay was $345,000 at Chimera Investment. Therefore, the ratio of Matthew Lambiase's pay to the median employee pay was 19 to one.
Choudhary Yarlagadda, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $4.8M, which increased by 10% compared to previous year. 50% of the compensation package, or $2.4M, was in non-equity incentive plan.
Phillip J. Kardis II, Chief Legal Officer, earned $3M in 2018, which is about the same as previous year.
Mohit Marria, Chief Investment Officer, received $2.9M in 2018, which increases by 10% compared to 2017.
Robert Colligan, Chief Financial Officer, earned $2.6M in 2018, a 10% increase compared to previous year.
