Cintas reported fiscal year 2008 executive compensation information on September 4, 2008.
In 2008, five Cintas executives received on average a compensation package of $964K, a 43% increase compared to previous year.
Scott D. Farmer, Chief Executive Officer, received $1.4M in total, which increased by 6% compared to 2007. 52% of Farmer's compensation, or $700K, was in salary. Farmer also received $235K in non-equity incentive plan, $163K in option awards, $201K in stock awards, as well as $60K in other compensation.
J. Phillip Holloman, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $1.3M, which increased by 123% compared to previous year. 35% of the compensation package, or $462K, was in option awards.
Thomas E. Frooman, General Counsel, earned $822K in 2008, a 23% increase compared to previous year.
William C. Gale, Chief Financial Officer, received $792K in 2008, which increases by 12% compared to 2007.
Michael L. Thompson, Vice President and Treasurer, earned $530K in 2008, a 20% increase compared to previous year.
Cintas' fiscal year ends on May 31.
