Cintas CEO Scott Farmer's 2018 pay rises 14% to $9.8M

Cintas reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on September 20, 2018.
In 2018, six Cintas executives received on average a compensation package of $3.8M, a 28% increase compared to previous year.
Scott D. Farmer, Chief Executive Officer, received $9.8M in total, which increased by 14% compared to 2017. 61% of Farmer's compensation, or $6M, was in stock awards. Farmer also received $2.1M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.2M in salary, as well as $544K in other compensation.
J. Phillip Holloman, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $4.4M, which increased by 19% compared to previous year. 57% of the compensation package, or $2.5M, was in stock awards.
J. Michael Hansen, Chief Financial Officer, earned $2.8M in 2018, a 77% increase compared to previous year.
Thomas E. Frooman, General Counsel, received $2.8M in 2018, which increases by 44% compared to 2017.
Michael L. Thompson, Chief Administrative Officer, earned $2.6M in 2018, a 60% increase compared to previous year.
Paul F. Adler, Vice President and Treasurer, received $719K in 2018, which increases by 2% compared to 2017.
Cintas' fiscal year ends on May 31.
