Clorox reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on October 2, 2019.
In 2019, five Clorox executives received on average a compensation package of $3.7M, a 11% increase compared to previous year.
Benno Dorer, Chief Executive Officer, received $9.4M in total, which increased by 15% compared to 2018. 31% of Dorer's compensation, or $2.9M, was in option awards. Dorer also received $860K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $1.2M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.2M in salary, $2.9M in stock awards, as well as $382K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2019, the median employee pay was $68,441 at Clorox. Therefore, the ratio of Benno Dorer's pay to the median employee pay was 137 to one.
Laura Stein, General Counsel, received a compensation package of $3M, which increased by 41% compared to previous year. 27% of the compensation package, or $788K, was of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings.
Kevin Jacobsen, Chief Financial Officer, earned $2.3M in 2019, a 67% increase compared to previous year.
Linda Rendle, Executive Vice President Strategy and Operations, received $2.2M in 2019, which increases by 27% compared to 2018.
Eric Reynolds, Executive Vice President Cleaning and Burt's Bees, earned $1.7M in 2019.
Clorox's fiscal year ends on June 30.
