CME Group CEO Terrence Duffy's 2020 pay jumps 36% to $16M

CME Group reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on March 18, 2021.
In 2020, five CME Group executives received on average a compensation package of $5.7M, a 6% increase compared to previous year.
Terrence A. Duffy, Chief Executive Officer, received $16M in total, which increased by 36% compared to 2019. 68% of Duffy's compensation, or $11M, was in stock awards. Duffy also received $45K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $3.2M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.5M in salary, as well as $444K in other compensation.
John W. Pietrowicz, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $3.3M, which is about the same as previous year. 61% of the compensation package, or $2M, was in stock awards.
Kevin D. Kometer, Chief Information Officer, earned $3M in 2020, a 7% increase compared to previous year.
Julie Holzrichter, Chief Operating Officer, received $3M in 2020, which is about the same as previous year.
Sunil K. Cutinho, President CME Clearing, earned $2.8M in 2020.
