Coherent CEO John Ambroseo's 2010 pay jumps 63% to $3.3M

Coherent reported fiscal year 2010 executive compensation information on February 25, 2011.
In 2010, five Coherent executives received on average a compensation package of $1.5M, a 38% increase compared to previous year.
John Ambroseo, Chief Executive Officer, received $3.3M in total, which increased by 63% compared to 2009. 30% of Ambroseo's compensation, or $981K, was in stock awards. Ambroseo also received $870K in non-equity incentive plan, $600K in option awards, $580K in salary, as well as $278K in other compensation.
Helene Simonet, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $1.4M, which increased by 52% compared to previous year. 28% of the compensation package, or $388K, was in non-equity incentive plan.
Mark Sobey, Executive Vice President General Manager, SLS, earned $1.1M in 2010.
Bret DiMarco, General Counsel, received $1M in 2010, which increases by 37% compared to 2009.
Luis Spinelli, Chief Technology Officer, earned $887K in 2010, a 17% increase compared to previous year.
Coherent's fiscal year ends on October 2.
