Coherent reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on January 14, 2019.
In 2018, five Coherent executives received on average a compensation package of $3.6M, a 9% decrease compared to previous year.
John Ambroseo, Chief Executive Officer, received $9.5M in total, which decreased by 5% compared to 2017. 83% of Ambroseo's compensation, or $7.9M, was in stock awards. Ambroseo also received $854K in non-equity incentive plan, $800K in salary, as well as $11K in other compensation.
Kevin Palatnik, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $2.3M, which decreased by 14% compared to previous year. 67% of the compensation package, or $1.6M, was in stock awards.
Mark Sobey, Executive Vice President and General Manager of OEM Laser Sources, earned $2.2M in 2018, a 7% decrease compared to previous year.
Paul Sechrist, Executive Vice President Worldwide Sales and Services, received $2M in 2018, which decreases by 14% compared to 2017.
Bret DiMarco, General Counsel, earned $1.8M in 2018, a 18% decrease compared to previous year.
Coherent's fiscal year ends on October 2.
