Copart reported fiscal year 2011 executive compensation information on November 14, 2011.
In 2011, five Copart executives received on average a compensation package of $2.4M, a 119% increase compared to previous year.
Vincent W. Mitz, President, received $5.9M in total, which increased by 67% compared to 2010. 81% of Mitz's compensation, or $4.8M, was in option awards. Mitz also received $500K in bonus, $640K in salary, as well as $17K in other compensation.
Robert H. Vannuccini, Senior Vice President, Sales, received a compensation package of $2.3M. 73% of the compensation package, or $1.7M, was in option awards.
William E. Franklin, Chief Financial Officer, earned $2M in 2011, a 65% increase compared to previous year.
Russell D. Lowy, Chief Operating Officer, received $1.9M in 2011, which increases by 60% compared to 2010.
A. Jayson Adair, Chief Executive Officer, earned $71K in 2011, a 42% increase compared to previous year.
Copart's fiscal year ends on July 31.
