Corning CEO Wendell Weeks' 2021 pay rises 10% to $21M

Corning reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on March 18, 2022.
In 2021, five Corning executives received on average a compensation package of $9.3M, a 13% increase compared to previous year.
Wendell P. Weeks, Chief Executive Officer, received $21M in total, which increased by 10% compared to 2020. 52% of Weeks' compensation, or $11M, was in non-equity incentive plan. Weeks also received $1.5M in salary, $8M in stock awards, as well as $430K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2021, the median employee pay was $40,760 at Corning. Therefore, the ratio of Wendell P. Weeks' pay to the median employee pay was 509 to one.
Eric S. Musser, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $7.5M, which increased by 31% compared to previous year. 50% of the compensation package, or $3.8M, was in non-equity incentive plan.
Lewis A. Steverson, Executive Vice President and Chief Legal and Administration Officer, earned $6.3M in 2021.
R. Tony Tripeny, Chief Financial Officer, received $6M in 2021, which increases by 12% compared to 2020.
Lawrence D. McRae, Chairman, earned $5.8M in 2021, a 2% increase compared to previous year.
