Couchbase reported fiscal year 2022 executive compensation information on May 11, 2022.
In 2022, three Couchbase executives received on average a compensation package of $3.4M, a 223% increase compared to previous year.
Matthew M. Cain, Chief Executive Officer, received $6.3M in total, which increased by 315% compared to 2021. 56% of Cain's compensation, or $3.5M, was in option awards. Cain also received $372K in non-equity incentive plan, $450K in salary, $1.9M in stock awards, as well as $1.5K in other compensation.
Greg Henry, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $2.4M. 47% of the compensation package, or $1.1M, was in stock awards.
Denis Murphy, Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer, earned $1.4M in 2022, a 153% increase compared to previous year.
Couchbase's fiscal year ends on January 31.
