CVS Health CEO Larry Merlo's 2018 pay jumps 79% to $22M

CVS Health reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on April 5, 2019.
In 2018, four CVS Health executives received on average a compensation package of $14M, a 125% increase compared to previous year.
Larry J. Merlo, Chief Executive Officer, received $22M in total, which increased by 79% compared to 2017. 46% of Merlo's compensation, or $10M, was in stock awards. Merlo also received $6.1M in non-equity incentive plan, $3.4M in option awards, $1.6M in salary, as well as $667K in other compensation.
Jonathan C. Roberts, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $16M, which increased by 133% compared to previous year. 60% of the compensation package, or $9.6M, was in stock awards.
Derica W. Rice, Executive Vice President and President CVS Caremark, earned $13M in 2018.
Eva C. Boratto, Chief Financial Officer, received $7M in 2018.
