CVS Health CEO Larry Merlo's 2019 pay jumps 66% to $36M

CVS Health reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on April 3, 2020.
In 2019, three CVS Health executives received on average a compensation package of $20M, a 41% increase compared to previous year.
Larry J. Merlo, Chief Executive Officer, received $36M in total, which increased by 66% compared to 2018. 56% of Merlo's compensation, or $20M, was in stock awards. Merlo also received $11M in non-equity incentive plan, $3.4M in option awards, $1.6M in salary, as well as $572K in other compensation.
Jonathan C. Roberts, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $15M, which decreased by 6% compared to previous year. 41% of the compensation package, or $6.1M, was in non-equity incentive plan.
Eva C. Boratto, Chief Financial Officer, earned $9.6M in 2019, a 37% increase compared to previous year.
