CVS Health CEO Larry Merlo's 2020 pay falls 37% to $23M

CVS Health reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on April 2, 2021.
In 2020, five CVS Health executives received on average a compensation package of $13M, a 37% decrease compared to previous year.
Larry J. Merlo, Chief Executive Officer, received $23M in total, which decreased by 37% compared to 2019. 52% of Merlo's compensation, or $12M, was of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings. Merlo also received $4.7M in non-equity incentive plan, $4.2M in option awards, $1.6M in salary, as well as $659K in other compensation.
Jonathan C. Roberts, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $13M, which decreased by 14% compared to previous year. 49% of the compensation package, or $6.4M, was in stock awards.
Karen S. Lynch, Executive Vice President and President of Aetna, earned $11M in 2020.
Eva C. Boratto, Chief Financial Officer, received $8.9M in 2020, which decreases by 7% compared to 2019.
Alan M. Lotvin, Executive Vice President and President of CVS Caremark, earned $7.5M in 2020.
