CVS Health CEO Karen Lynch's 2021 pay jumps 80% to $20M

CVS Health reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on April 1, 2022.
In 2021, seven CVS Health executives received on average a compensation package of $12M, a 6% decrease compared to previous year.
Karen S. Lynch, Chief Executive Officer, received $20M in total, which increased by 80% compared to 2020. 48% of Lynch's compensation, or $9.7M, was in stock awards. Lynch also received $5.6M in non-equity incentive plan, $3.2M in option awards, $1.4M in salary, as well as $343K in other compensation.
Jonathan C. Roberts, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $15M, which increased by 18% compared to previous year. 49% of the compensation package, or $7.5M, was in stock awards.
Shawn M. Guertin, Chief Financial Officer, earned $14M in 2021.
Alan M. Lotvin, Executive Vice President and President – Pharmacy Services, received $11M in 2021, which increases by 47% compared to 2020.
Eva C. Boratto, Chief Financial Officer, earned $9.9M in 2021, a 11% increase compared to previous year.
Troyen A. Brennan, Chief Medical Officer, received $8.8M in 2021.
Larry J. Merlo, Chief Executive Officer, earned $3.8M in 2021, a 84% decrease compared to previous year.
