Danaher CEO Thomas Joyce's 2020 pay slips 8% to $17M

Danaher reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on March 25, 2021.
In 2020, seven Danaher executives received on average a compensation package of $8.6M, a 3% decrease compared to previous year.
Thomas P Joyce, Jr, Chief Executive Officer, received $17M in total, which decreased by 8% compared to 2019. 37% of Joyce's compensation, or $6.3M, was in stock awards. Joyce also received $6.5K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $3.1M in non-equity incentive plan, $5.5M in option awards, $1.4M in salary, as well as $549K in other compensation.
Joakim Weidemanis, Executive Vice President, received a compensation package of $13M, which increased by 97% compared to previous year. 40% of the compensation package, or $5.1M, was in stock awards.
Rainer M. Blair, Chief Executive Officer, earned $10M in 2020, a 45% increase compared to previous year.
William K. Daniel II, Former Executive Vice President, received $5.7M in 2020, which decreases by 28% compared to 2019.
Matthew R. McGrew, Chief Financial Officer, earned $5.5M in 2020, a 21% increase compared to previous year.
Angela S. Lalor, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, received $5.5M in 2020.
Brian W. Ellis, General Counsel, earned $3.6M in 2020.
