DexCom reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on April 8, 2022.
In 2021, six DexCom executives received on average a compensation package of $6.1M, a 16% decrease compared to previous year.
Kevin Sayer, Chief Executive Officer, received $12M in total, which decreased by 13% compared to 2020. 80% of Sayer's compensation, or $9.6M, was in stock awards. Sayer also received $1.5M in non-equity incentive plan, $900K in salary, as well as $15K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2021, the median employee pay was $63,500 at DexCom. Therefore, the ratio of Kevin Sayer's pay to the median employee pay was 189 to one.
Jacob S. Leach, Chief Technology Officer, received a compensation package of $5.7M, which increased by 31% compared to previous year. 84% of the compensation package, or $4.8M, was in stock awards.
Chad M. Patterson, EVP, Global Marketing, earned $4.9M in 2021.
Paul Flynn, EVP, Global Revenue, received $4.9M in 2021.
Jereme M. Sylvain, Chief Financial Officer, earned $4.7M in 2021.
Quentin S. Blackford, Chief Financial Officer, received $4.6M in 2021, which decreases by 10% compared to 2020.
