Diebold reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on March 19, 2021.
In 2020, six Diebold executives received on average a compensation package of $2.3M, a 24% decrease compared to previous year.
Gerrard B. Schmid, Chief Executive Officer, received $5.3M in total, which decreased by 18% compared to 2019. 31% of Schmid's compensation, or $1.6M, was in stock awards. Schmid also received $1.1M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.5M in option awards, $950K in salary, as well as $56K in other compensation.
Alan L. Kerr, Former Senior Vice President, Software and Chief Revenue Officer , received a compensation package of $1.9M, which increased by 4% compared to previous year. 85% of the compensation package, or $1.6M, was in other compensation.
Jeffrey Rutherford, Chief Financial Officer, earned $1.8M in 2020, a 23% decrease compared to previous year.
Olaf Heyden, Chief Operating Officer, received $1.6M in 2020, which decreases by 41% compared to 2019.
Ulrich Näher, Senior Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer, earned $1.6M in 2020, a 41% decrease compared to previous year.
Jonathan B. Leiken, Chief Legal Officer, received $1.3M in 2020, which decreases by 28% compared to 2019.
