DineEquity reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on March 30, 2021.
In 2020, five DineEquity executives received on average a compensation package of $1.7M, a 7% decrease compared to previous year.
John C. Cywinski, President, Applebee's Business Unit, received $2M in total, which increased by 10% compared to 2019. 33% of Cywinski's compensation, or $668K, was in salary. Cywinski also received $287K in bonus, $365K in non-equity incentive plan, $340K in option awards, $330K in stock awards, as well as $37K in other compensation.
Stephen P. Joyce, Chief Executive Officer, received a compensation package of $1.8M, which increased by 3% compared to previous year. 55% of the compensation package, or $1M, was in salary.
Thomas H. Song, Chief Financial Officer, earned $1.6M in 2020, a 11% decrease compared to previous year.
Bryan R. Adel, Senior Vice President, Legal, General, received $1.5M in 2020, which increases by 7% compared to 2019.
Jay D. Johns, President, IHOP Business Unit, earned $1.4M in 2020, a 34% decrease compared to previous year.
